I have seen a post of in digitalgrenade about the top 5 most played online games.

The ranking is from CSports and not so sure what they use to monitor the traffic. Things to notice, is that AA is on the top 5 (quick answer to those who claim realism is for the few hardcore gamers) and also that JO is nowhere in there. Here is the top 5.

1 Counter-Strike
2 Call of Duty
3 Wolfenstein Enemy Territory
4 Day of Defeat
5 America's Army

I'm not a huge fan of the Ghost Recon series, but Ghost Recon 2 has changed that. The improved graphics, sound, and tightened gameplay will absolutely thrill fans of the original and the fact that it no longer sucks will bring new fans into the fold. The AI remains an issue for this series, with some occasionally stupid choices by your teammates and sometimes mechanical thought process from the enemy. The Lone Wolf mode is inspired and using technology that won't be in the field for another six years is pretty exciting. The camera gun will be your new favorite toy and Ghost Recon 2 may just become your favorite third-person shooter on Xbox.

Needless to say fans of slower, more considered shooters will be saving the pennies in anticipation of Ghost Recon 2, perhaps even delaying purchases of the massive Halo 2 in favour of some old fashioned Clancy loving. Everyone else should approach Ghost Recon 2 with caution, as the game is not for the faint of heart, even if it is the high-water mark in the series.

Yeap...is nearly here....at 08:00 UK time (GMT) valve is going to unlock HL2 via steam..that is sitting on our hard drive (including mine...:) for the ones that have preordered it....

According to reviews it's suppose to be a breakthrough in fps games...next generation of graphics and physics...

It has stormed all the awards, scored high scores in all the reviews and personally have read no negative comments whatsoever about it...

More important, all them mods will start coming using the new HL2 engine, including insurgency mod. Stay tuned....

For those of you who want to revert back to the ORIGINAL version of Joint Ops, you can do so by following the directions below.

1. Uninstall Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising.

2. Reinstall Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising.

3. Download the relevant file found below (remember where you saved it) and double click the ‘.exe' to run the update.

DO NOT UPDATE USING THE IN-GAME OPTION, OR FROM THE SHORTCUT FOUND IN THE START MENU. That will bring you to the latest version (1.4.17.0). Only use the links below to get back to the previous version (1.4.2.7)
