PURPOSE
Welcome to the Reality Friends' website. This site is a gathering place for the fans of reality in first person shooter (fps) and multiplayer (mp) online games.
The main purpose of this site is to provide a focal point for anybody that enjoys playing games with tactics, a proper plan and teamwork. Also, for people that they are tired of running around the battlefield killing people and getting killed and for people who play for their team and their team-mates and are not interested in their stats at the end of the game.
We believe that the games are much more fun played like that and not like running and gunning like the Rambo movies. We strive for reality and every reality mod that is out or coming out will get tested, ultimately seeking a more realistic game play. In the future any modern warfare games that they might be realistic and offer fun and good game play will be considered.
Primarily, the aim is not to create a hardcore squad like many others, but to have a gathering place for people that would like to play by the above rules. If you belong to a squad or not, it doesn't matter as this is only a gathering place for players with the same preferences.
It is a not a military based team, just a bunch of people that like playing together and enjoy the game with their own way. However, it is a military game and military tactics and training are sometimes applicable.
The ultimate target is to make the game more enjoyable for the people with similar preferences and eventually more fun when we play the game. Isn't it all about fun anyway?

Why Reality Friends?
Reality Friends is for players that like realistic game play. Also, because no matter what game one plays realistic or not, a friendly/fun environment is a must; swearing, arrogance, disrespect and bad behaviour do not add to the fun. Furthermore, the most important component that keeps a team of people together is friendship and getting on well together.

Resources
Reality Friends have a dedicated game server, and also a Online Voice communication server. Our reality server is hosting games with the most realistic settings as possible. Check our forums for the current game(s) that we are hosting. Teamwork is based heavily on communications therefore being able to communicate while playing is a must for this server. Everyone can use these resources so feel free post in our forums, or chat with us online and of course play with us in the Reality Server.

Can I Join
Primarily, the aim of this site is not to recruit and have an x number of members. However, if enough dedicated and mature players enjoy the gameplay together and are in line with what was described in the purpose, then a regular core of players can be formed that practices and plays together.
In any case, it will be more an invite policy instead of recruitment because players with the same principles and gamestyle just naturally stick together. People like us found each other in servers playing exactly the same way. So you will know if you fit because without even say anything or train anyone you will play similar to us. Therefore, just play with us on the servers, have fun and please don't constantly ask "can I join?", just leave it with us.
However, this site will still encourage teamwork-oriented players to come and play with us. If you are in a squad or not, makes no difference, EVERYONE can join and play with us, as long as they enjoy our way of playing the game.
The majority of the people are under the perception, that in order to be in a clan/squad they need to be really good players. Firstly, this is the wrong perception and secondly this site aims to provide teamwork and tactics for the people that they don't necessarily want to join a clan/squad.

Currenlty there is a large number of players that prefer coop gameplay with "realistic" settings. These settings are putting the teamwork and communication skills to test. There is also a number of players that prefer both online competitive gaming (against other players) and coop. Participation in ladders and tournaments is within the scope of that group as well.
